Bravo Puts RHONJ on Ice: New and OG cast wait in limbo
Welp, Bravo finally did it. They slammed the brakes on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, indefinitely. After season 14 wrapped, the network decided the feud between Teresa Guidice and Melissa Gorga wasn’t just splitting their family, it was splitting the entire cast. So what’s the solution? A reboot? Another showdown? A cage match? Nope. Bravo opted for...nothing.
According to sources, Bravo was all set to pull an RHONY style reboot to bring in new blood. But because this is Bravo, and the first reboot didn’t hit the way they anticipated… they paused the entire operation. The new cast was put on pause. The OG cast was put on pause. And now the entire show is, you guessed it, on pause. Bravo execs are reportedly “still deciding” what to do with season 15 but here’s the kicker: there are no plans to even think about filming until at least December 2025. We haven’t waited this long for RHONJ since Teresa went to jail….
Andy Cohen himself has confirmed what we all feared: there’s nothing happening for RHONJ anytime soon. In our interview with him at Bravo Fan Fest, He said there will be absolutely NO updates on Jersey coming. Even saying we wont see it until 2026! Bravo’s indecision comes after RHONJ season 14 gave us a cast so divided they might as well have been filming two different shows. You were either Team Teresa or Team Melissa with absolutely no middle ground.
In the midst of all of the drama, Melissa Gorga continues to sell Sprinkle Cookies off the shelves. Which in itself, is iconic. It would be crazy to think that this decade long feud would be the end of RHONJ as we know it. Hopefully these women like money and cameras more than they hate eachother, so we can work this out.
For now, we wait. Us Bravo fans are nothing if not patient. But you better believe we’ll be rushing to our TVs the second this drama is settled. Whether it’s Teresa, Melissa, or a totally new cast of women arguing over who called who a rat, we’ll be there, ready to judge.
