Netflix just dropped the first teaser for Ginny & Georgia Season 3, dropping June 5 and it’s giving pure chaos, emotional whiplash and that signature Wellsbury sweetness laced with poison. If you thought Season 2’s wedding arrest was the peak? Oh babe, we’re just getting started.
Georgia’s Fairytale? Absolutely Wrecked.
At the end of last season, Georgia finally snagged a dreamy proposal, a winter wedding, the whole southern princess fantasy. That is, until she was arrested mid-reception for the murder of Tom Fuller, the husband of her friend Cynthia.
Now in the teaser, she’s locked up and facing some very real consequences. The hair is still glistening, the Southern charm’s intact, but that orange jumpsuit? It’s not just for aesthetic. The law is coming and Georgia’s not sure she can charm her way out of this one.
She’s not just a mom with secrets anymore. She’s the town scandal and everyone’s watching. (We should all be collectively SAT.)
Ginny’s Loyalty Is on the Line
Meanwhile, Ginny is back in a full emotional spiral. Her mother, her protector, her problem, is in jail. And now she’s being forced to ask: Am I still willing to go down with this ship?
For two seasons, Ginny has played the role of the perfect ride or die daughter, but this isn’t about hiding burner phones or small-town gossip. This is murder. This is jail. This is real. And for the first time, Ginny’s trying to figure out who she is without Georgia calling the shots.
As Netflix puts it: “It’s always been Ginny and Georgia against the world… but the world has never come for them quite like this.”

Georgia’s facing serious legal troubles
New characters are entering the picture, including a prosecutor who’s not here to play.
Ginny’s independence arc is coming in strong and we might see her finally put her foot down.
And of course, there’s the question of what happens to Austin, little man with a big shovel and bigger trauma.
Also… there’s no way Georgia only killed one person, right? Let’s not act brand new.
